AnnaBelle M. Sever, 88, of Hutchinson, died Saturday, November 5, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born November 24, 1927, in Hutchinson, a daughter of the late Maximillion and Margaret (Bendig) Malis.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Walter Sever in 1988, son-in-law, Michael Johnson; two sisters, RoseMarie Stubbs and Evelyn Kayda; three brothers, Joseph, William and Max Milas. AnnaBelle supported the war effort and was one of the “Rosie The Riveter’s.” Decorating for every holiday was her greatest joy. She love to play bingo and crochet afghans. AnnaBelle was an amazing cook and was famous for her pierogies and homemade bread. She was a member of St. Edward Roman Catholic Church in Herminie, AnnaBelle is survived by her three daughters, Linda A. Sever of Hutchinson, Joyce (John) Cole of Mt. Pleasant, Jean (Ray) Bacha of Hutchinson; three sons, Walter J. (Debra) Sever, John E. (Valerie) Sever and Frank A. Sever Sr. of all of Hutchinson; eight grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Christen (William Dull) Bacha, Lisa (Jason) Smartnick, Emily (Philip) Cooke, Jessica Sever, Justin Johnson, Travis Sever, Frank Sever Jr; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Smartnick; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. AnnaBelle will be sadly missed by her family, friends and many neighbors. There will be no public visitation per AnnaBelle’s wishes. JOSEPH W.
