Annie Bobby, 90, of Wendel, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, in Southwestern Nursing Care Center, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born Feb. 5, 1926, in Wendel, daughter of the late Michael and Pauline (Denisz) Bobby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Boby. Annie was a member of St. Edward Church in Herminie. She enjoyed singing and dancing, doing puzzles, playing cards and loved listening to music, especially polkas. She would even sing while she was ironing clothes. She loved animals of all kinds, with kittens being one of her her favorites. Annie was fun loving, enjoyed being with friends and family, and just delighted in the simple pleasures of life. Annie is survived by her sister, Mary Borsani of Monongahela and sister-in-law, Helen Boby of Wendel; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a precious gift from God and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. Friends will be received from 4 to 8p.m. Thursday at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
