Betty M. (Gradisek) Barwiolek

Betty Barwiolek 94, of Herminie, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, in Kelly's Persona Care, Greensburg. She was born May 13, 1926, in Herminie, a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Mocnik) Gradisek. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Barwiolek; four brothers, Frank, Louis, Rudy and William Gradisek; and three sisters, Frances Sullivan, Pauline Travnik and Albina Bazzo. Betty was a member of St. Edward Church. She loved to bowl, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and cross-stitch. She also loved baking and was famous for her rumballs at Christmas. Betty is survived by her special nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; great-great nieces and great- great nephews, whom loved her dearly. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Kelly's Personal Care Home for all their love and compassionate care. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
