Betty Stowe Taylor, 89, of Troy, Ohio, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, in Crossroads Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vandalia, Ohio, where she had been a resident. She was born Oct. 10, 1926, in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Everett and Minnie (Reynolds) Stowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Taylor, in 2003; two brothers and five sisters. Prior to her retirement, she had been a waitress at K's in Troy, Ohio, and was a member of First United Church of Christ in Troy. She loved cooking for her family and enjoyed playing cards and bingo at the nursing home with her friends. Betty is survived by her daughter, Kristina (James) Globosky, of Herminie; two sons, Mike Taylor, of Troy, Ohio, and Ted (Judy) Taylor, of Gardnerville, Nev.; five grandchildren, Mindy Taylor, Kelly Taylor, Trudy Fugate Wendy Wesco Risher and William Wesco; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephew and great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Crossroads for all their kindness and dedicated care that was given to Betty over the past nine years. Betty will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Per Betty's wishes her body was donated to the Ohio Medical School. A private service was held by the family in Ohio. JOSEPH W.
