Brady Dennis Hunker, 15, of Herminie, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026. He was born on June 8, 2010, in Greensburg. Brady was the beloved son of Jillian S. Madigan of Herminie and the late Dennis R. Hunker.
In addition to his father, Brady was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Craig F. Madigan; his great-uncle, Jeffrey “Fish” Madigan; and his cousin, Steve Menefee.
Brady was a sophomore at Yough Senior High School. He was truly his mother’s world. He had a passion for riding dirt bikes and quads, and he enjoyed playing video games. More than anything, Brady loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a smile that made everyone feel like they were his best friend, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand, especially when it came to his natural mechanical talents. He was a loyal and caring friend who could always be counted on.
In addition to his mother, Brady is survived by his maternal grandmother, Darlene Madigan of Herminie; his paternal grandparents, Robert “Bo” and Ann Hunker of West Newton; his two special aunts, Natalie L. Madigan of Greensburg and Jodie D. Madigan of Herminie; as well as many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He is also survived by the many kittens he took in and cared for with such compassion.
Brady will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends whose lives he touched. He will always be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him, his kind heart, and his dream of becoming a mechanic.
Though his life was far too short, Brady lived it fully and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him and will never be forgotten.
A beautiful life that came to an end, he died as he lived, everyone's friend. In our hearts a memory will always be kept, of one we loved, and will never forget."
