Carol A. Bazzo

Carol A. Bazzo , 81, of Rillton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in Walden’s View Senior Living, North Huntingdon.  She was born Dec. 17, 1943, in Braddock, daughter of the late Angelo L. Sr. and Albina  (Gradisek) Bazzo.   In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Angelo Bazzo Jr. and his wife Suzi.
Carol was a graduate of Sewickley High School. Prior to her retirement, she was a senior field clerk, having worked for Verizon in East Pittsburgh for 47 years.  She was a member of St. Edward Church in Herminie.  Carol loved fashion and that meant “of course” she loved to shop and shop and shop.  She was an avid reader a loved watching all Pittsburgh sports. Spending time with her family was most important. She was a very special sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend and she will be dearly missed.
Carol is survived by her sister, Jeanne (Jeff) Terzolino of Jeannette and, brother, David Bazzo of Herminie. special nieces and nephews, Scott (Kitty) Terzolino, Gina (Anthony) Litterini, Blaize (Missy) Bazzo, Justine Bazzo and Chaz Bazzo; five special great-nieces; and great-nephews, GiGi, Adrian, Luna, Rocco and Sundra; and numerous cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at Walden’s View for all their love and care. 
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in  the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Herminie, 724-446-7251. A Funeral  Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m.,  Saturday,  in St. Edward Church Herminie, with the  Rev. David J.  Nazimek as celebrant.  Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Twp.
