Carol Beers Obituary

Carol J. Beers, 79, of Rillton, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 23, 1941, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Shrump. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, William J. “Bill” Beers; daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Randall Staso; a sister, Patricia Shrump. She enjoyed shopping, loved to go camping and spending time with her family was important. She also loved cooking for everyone who entered her home.

Carol is survived by her two sons, Ricky Sr. (Linda) Beers of Florida and Greg (Shari) Beers of Herminie; five special grandchildren, Alaynna and Natalie Beers, Olivia and Ryan Staso, Ricky Beers Jr.; special great-grandson, Cooper Beers; a brother, Johnny Shrump of Jeannette and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A special thank you to Grane Hospice for all their love and compassionate care.
