Charles P. Hirth, 77, of Herminie, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at home, with his wife by his side. He was born August 21, 1947, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Walter and Olga (Jamarik) Hirth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Suzanne K. Marroncelli and son-in-law, Dante C. Marroncelli.
Chuck was proud to be the U.S. Navy veteran having served during Vietnam, where he was stationed on the aircraft carrier, Intrepid. Prior to his retirement, he was a HR Professional, for the tax collector office located in Pasco County FL. Chuck was the treasure for the Friends of Sewickley Township Library, for many years. He was an animal lover, especially loving his two crazy cats, Hammy and Silky. He was an avid traveler, having traveled the world. He loved spending the summers in Cape May with his family and always wishing he would return to San Francisco someday. Chuck was a history buff and had a passion for English sports cars and motorcycles. But most of all spending time with his two precious grandchildren meant the world to him.
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Regina A. “Gina” (Zeletski) Hirth; daughter, Christina and Kelly Okimoto of Chicago; two special grandchildren, Violet J. and Dante E. Marroncelli; brother, W. Kenny (Barbara) Hirth of South Park; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews. Chuck’s kindness will forever be remembered. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and special neighbors. The family would like to thank AHN East Team Hospice for all their love and compassionate care.
