Christine (Flanigan) Keeler

Christine (Flanigan) Keeler, 63, passed peacefully into the arms  Of God at Jefferson Hospital  on August 9, 2025. She was born December 24, 1961 in Greensburg, daughter of the late Elizabeth FLanigan.  In addition to her mother, she was proceeded in death by her husband, Larry Keeler.  She was a mother to Stephen Thomas , Margaret Beth ,  and Helen Margaret and  a sister, cousin, niece, and friend. She is now at peace with God & her love, Larry. She loved her cat, Skeeter. 
Life was never easy for our sister; she had many challenges.  However, through it all,  she managed to fight the waters that tried to flood her life. Epilepsy, mental health challenges & cancer took its toll on her body. 

When we were little,  she was our protector, and a great big tease to us both. But we were family & we now cherish the time we had. 

Life happens & because she didn’t have same dad as us, we drifted apart & back again, and the cycle continued. But she was our sister; we loved her & will miss her presence. 
Her passing has been a shock,  but we rest in her being with God & her husband. 

She is survived by sister, Sara ( Michael) Israel of Herminie , nephews,  Dustin Cole (Marrisa) & Michael (Amber) Cole, (Emma & Caleb) niece Cheri Cole (Shane) Maisy; brother, George Martincheck of Inwood, WV. Preceded in death by sister-in-law, Dawn M. Martincheck.  

She is also survived by aunts,  Nina Dyer of Madison and Bernadette Flanigan of Yukon,  and many  cousins that loved her.. 

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 2 PM to 3 PM at the Joseph W. Nickels Funeral Home Inc., 404 Swickley Ave. Herminie PA 15637 at which time a memorial service will be held to celebrate Christine‘s life.
