Claire R. Kulha Jackson Procacina, age 84, resident of McKeesport and Herminie, passed away on one of the Christians holiest holiday eve’s, Thursday, December 24th, 2020 in HCR Manor Care in Monroeville, after a longtime illness. Before Claire resided at HCR she lived at home with her illness for many years, being cared for by her husband, Anthony, son Jon and his wife Traci and grandson Justin. Claire was born, May 21, 1936, in New York City, a daughter of the late Paul and Clara (Stanley) Kulha. While attending high school, Claire worked at her parents business, Aloha’s Dairy Bar (named after her sister) and went to graduate from McKeesport High School in 1953. Claire was a member of St. Edward Church in Herminie. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling, her dogs, camping, people and all sorts of food. Claire was a member of the AKC Kennel Club for 15 years, during that time she bread and raised English Cocker Spaniels and Cocker Spaniels, she enjoyed that very much. Claire will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many that she met along the way. Claire was a kind and self spoken soul that loved life and her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, LeRoy Edward Jackson and her sister, Aloha (Don) Crandal and their twin infants that died at birth. Claire is survived by her loving husband, Anthony F. Procacina Sr. of HCR Manor Care, Monroeville, and celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary this past March; her five sons, Paul Lee (JoEllen) Jackson, Edward Lee (Colleen) Jackson, Randy Lee (Corrine) Jackson, Anthony F. (Allegra) Procacina Jr. and Jon (Traci) Procacina; her three step daughters, Candie Ott, Ginger Zamito and Desiree Donnelly; grandchildren, Jillyn Jackson, Kris Tina Jackson, Michael Jackson, Michele Jackson, Perry (Courtney) Jackson, Tony Cole Procacina (Finace` Stefanie), Dominic (Kaitlin) Procacina , Danyale Procacina (Fiance` Alex), Justin Procacina , Nicholas Jackson and Benjamin Jackson; great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Claire had two special grandchildren in her life that spent most of their life with her and she adored, Kris Tina Jackson and Justin Jon Procacina. The family would like to thank the staff of HCR Manor Care and Heartland Hospice, truly devoted, compassionate people, your kindness and admiration will never be forgotten. Claire will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. There will be no visitation and burial will be private at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, North Versailles, due to the pandemic. JOSEPH W.
