Craig F. Madigan, 69, of Herminie, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, July 18, 2023, at his home surrounded by hisfamily. He was born Jan. 11, 1954, in Greensburg, a son of the late Glenn and Evelyn (Havey) Madigan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his special brother, Jeffrey (Fish) Madigan. Craig was Byzantine Catholic by faith. Prior to his illness, Craig was employed by Menasha Corp. in Ruffs Dale for many years. He had also worked at Volkswagen in New Stanton as a machinist and in the paint shop. He loved to go fishing, hunting and could always be seen walking in town. He loved his beach vacations with his family and enjoyed watching wrestling with Jodie. Craig was a family man, loved his three girls and enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Brady, his “Buddy.” Craig is survived by his loving wife of 49 years and caregiver for the past 12 years, Darlene (Sethman) Madigan; three special daughters, Natalie L. Madigan, of Greensburg, and Jillian S. Madigan and Jodie D. Madigan, both of Herminie; and his special grandson, Brady Hunker; sister, Sherry (Joe) Kluse; and brother, Mark (Vonnie) Madigan; his sister-in-law, Lynda Madigan, all of Herminie; his aunt, Gayle Kurpick, of Lowber; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Craig will be dearly missed by his family, many friends and neighbors. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2023, in the funeral home.
