David L. Beddick Sr., 66, of Herminie, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018, at his home. He was born Oct. 28, 1951, and was a son of the late Joseph and Angeline (Raffaelli) Beddick. In addition to his parents, he was very recently preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Sherrill "Dusty" Beddick, and her passing had truly broken his heart. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joe Gabonay; sister-in-law, Nikki Galante; and nephew, David Gabonay. Prior to his retirement, David was a bus driver for the Hempfield School District. He loved rock 'n' roll, building and customizing Harley-Davidsons and gardening. He was a loving and caring husband, dad, grandpap, brother and friend. He was loved by all. David is survived by his two children, Melissa Miller, of Bethel Park, and David L. (Dayna) Beddick Jr., of Florida; five grandchildren, Maksim, Mathis, Madden, Fiorella and Emilia, whom he loved dearly; two sisters, Donna Gabonay, of Wendel, and Anna Beddick, of Herminie; three brothers, Gasper Galante and companion Carol Bushyager, of North Huntingdon, Joseph (Jeanne) Beddick, of Maryland, and Michael (Donna) Beddick, of Herminie; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. David will be dearly missed by his family, friends and neighbors. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, 724-446-7251. A funeral blessing will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
