David G. Keene

June 20, 1937 ~ May 17, 2022 (age 84)


David G. Keene, 84, of Hutchinson, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in RNC at Greater Pittsburgh in Greensburg. He was born June 20, 1937, in Duquesne, son of the late Fred and Viola (Tyler) Keene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Kredic) Keene. Dave was proud to be a Navy veteran. Prior to his retirement, he was an electrician, having worked for Westinghouse, Waltz Mill. Dave enjoyed arts and crafts, tinkering with cars and model aircrafts. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Dave is survived by his two daughters, Pamela Haddock, of Florida, and Diane (Randy) Farkas, of Sutersville; three sons, Jeffrey Keene, of Greensburg, Joseph Keene, of Hutchinson, and John (Michele) Keene, of Finleyville; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Daniel) Mough, Daniel Farkas, Alisha (Nick) McKeel, Ben Farkas and fiancee, Sarah Wood, Kaitlin (Connor) Proctor, Dylan Haddock and Evan Haddock; eight great-grandchildren, Madeline, Alison, Sullivan, Colby, Thomas, Hannah and Rebecca; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Dave will be dearly missed by his family and friends. There will be no public visitation per Dave's wishes. JOSEPH W.
