Dorothy A. (Callahan) Mudry

Dorothy A. Mudry, 84, of Irwin, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born in McKeesport on May 12, 1939, daughter of the late George and Rose (Botti) Callahan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Mark and Michael Mudry; a brother, Anthony Callahan; and a sister, Louise Fiumara. Dorothy was a loving and adoring wife to her husband of 65 years, Michael. She was a devoted and amazing mother and grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends, singing along to her favorite songs and dancing with her husband. With her kind and gentle soul, she was truly a gift from God and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by her children, Matthew Mudry, Mary (Eric) Rubalcaba, Martin (Lee Ann) Mudry, Monty (Gina) Mudry; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph (Sandy) Callahan and George (Mimi) Callahan; and sister, Mary Lou (David) Darak; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME, 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Edward Church in Herminie.
