Edward G. "Eddie" Feltes, 46, of Herminie No. 2, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born July 8, 1969, in Jeannette, son of June P. (Prejza) Feltes, with whom he resided, and the late George "DoDo" Feltes, in 2007. Eddie was a dishwasher for many years at Lincoln Hills Country Club in Irwin. He was a member of St. Edward Church in Herminie, the SNPJ Lodge 87 in Herminie and a social member of the Herminie VFW Post 8427. Eddie loved to walk and especially walking to Herminie Dairy Queen a few times a week. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and NASCAR fan. In addition to his mother, June, he is survived by his two sisters, Deborah Feltes, of Greensburg, and Virna Wood, of Irwin; two special nephews, Brent Wood and girlfriend, Lindsay DeBarr, and Sabastian Wood; special niece, Krystal Wood and boyfriend Nate Medved; great-nephew, Logan Wood; and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins who loved him very much. Eddie will be dearly missed by his family friends and neighbors. His smile and laughter will forever be remembered. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251, a funeral liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Herminie VFW Post 8427, 501 Church St., Herminie, PA 15637, in memory of Eddie.
