Edward F. Hagedon, 72, of Coulters, passed away, Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, in Select Specialities McKeesport. He was born Feb. 22, 1948, in McKeesport, a son of the late Frank and Emma (Bilz) Hagedon. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother, William Hagedon; and his sister, Donna Pancoast. Ed was a Navy veteran and was proud to have received the National Defense Service Medal. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Curtiss-Wright Co. in Cheswick as a machinist. He was a member of the Shaner Sportsman Club in Irwin and was an avid trap shooter. He also enjoyed hunting and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Ed is survived by his two sisters, Margaret Nehila, of Michigan, and Janice Wright, of Coulters; special niece and caregiver, Yvonne and her children, Eddie, Hunter, Danny and Jack; special nephew, Barry and family of North Huntingdon; and special niece, Jody and family of Ohio; his dear friend, Rich Bercik, of North Huntingdon; and his beloved dog, Bella; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, of Michigan, who loved him dearly. Ed will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. There will be no public visitation per Ed's wishes. JOSEPH W.
