Harry J. Rosensteel, 77, of Little River, S.C., formerly of Herminie, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at his home. He was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Herminie, son of the late Harry V. and Elizabeth (Wolf) Rosensteel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald, and a sister, Elizabeth. He was a graduate of Sewickley High School Class of 1957 and was a Navy veteran. Prior to his retirement, Harry was employed by General Electric in West Mifflin. He was a life member of the American Legion, VFW and Elks, as well as being an avid golfer. He was a member of the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in South Carolina. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Barbara (Langfitt) Rosensteel; a son, Steven Rosensteel; stepchildren, Jerry Unites and Wendy Unites; four grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Rosensteel and Kenneth (Aldean) Rosensteel; a sister, Arlene (John) Merlino; brother-in-law, Larry Olson; and several nieces and nephews. Harry will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Our Lady Star of the Sea in South Carolina.
