Henry J. Kuzmkowski

Henry J. Kuzmkowski, 93, of Herminie, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg, surrounded by his family. He was born July 21, 1928, in Claridge, son of the late William and Frances (Likar) Kuzmkowski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene K. (Kromka) Kuzmkowski; infant daughter; son, Mark Kuzmkowski; grandson, Jacob Kuzmkowski; and two brothers, William and Martin Kuzmkowski. Henry was a Navy veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, he was a welder, having worked for Fisher Body in Dravosburg for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Edward Church in Herminie and life member of the Herminie VFW Post 8427. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, gardening and also loved looking for mushrooms. Henry was an avid Steelers fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his two sons, Dennis (Lorie) Kuzmkowski, of Derry, and Allan (Kim) Kuzmkowski, of Virginia; two special granddaughters, Lindsey (Brandon) Rensko and Autumn Kuzmkowski; two special great-grandchildren, Blake and Scarlet Rensko; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Redstone Highlands for being so attentive and the great communication with the family. Private services were held per Henry's wishes.
