Janice J. (Kusmierek) Kolesha, 77, formerly of North Huntingdon and Leesburg Fla., died peacefully Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Westmoreland Manor. She was born July 19, 1938, in Yukon, daughter of the late John and Olga (Thomas) Kusmierek. Janice was a homemaker and took pride in her home and family. She was very talented and creative. She was a member of St. Edward Church in Herminie. Janice was the beloved wife of her husband of 60 years, Frank V. Kolesha. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children: son, Frank M. (Diane) Kolesha, of North Huntingdon; daughter, Terri Kolesha Friez, of Herminie; three grandsons, Frank and Christian Kolesha and Adam Friez, all of Pittsburgh; brother, Robert (Lou Ann) Kusmierek, of Belle Vernon; three brothers-in-law, Robert (Susanne) Kolesha, of Suffolk Va., Charles (Pokey) Hoadwonic, of Yukon, Ronald Williams, of New York City; uncle, Edward Malner, of Belle Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to sincerely thank Tina and her staff on B2 at Westmoreland Manor and Dr. Thomas DeGregory for their love and compassion and the exceptional care that was given to Janice over the past three years. There will be no public visitation, per Janice's wishes. A private memorial service will be held to celebrate her life. JOSEPH W.
