John A. Kraszewski, 75, of Ruffs Dale, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 20, 1946, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Andrew and Mary (Poronovicz) Kraszewski. John was currently working for Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority as a bus driver. He was a member of Seven Dolors Church in Yukon. John enjoyed playing pool, sequence, corn hole, cards and going camping. He had a love for trains and had an amazing Lionel Train collection. He was happiest when he was with his family, especially with his grandchildren. John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Frances L. (Brenning) Kraszewski; daughter, Donna (Josh) Van Zaig, of Ruffs Dale; son, Brian (Linndy) Kraszewski, of Smithton; seven special grandchildren, Jason, Madeliene, Hayden, Thomas, Christopher, Tyler and Jonathan; a sister, Elaine (Bill) Leonard, of Munhall; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. John will be dearly missed by his family and many friends near and far. The family would like to thank Leslie from Amedisys Hospice for all her love and compassionate care.
