Joycelene L. (Mautino) Bepler, 89, of Irwin, formerly of Wyano, passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, at Weatherwood Manor, Greensburg, surrounded by her family. She was born Sept. 16, 1932, in Wyano, daughter of the late Jacob and Frances (Duchek) Mautino. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, James Sullenberger, and grandson, Randy Bepler; and sister, Norma King, and brother-in-law, Thomas King. Joycelene was a member of United Church of Christ in New Stanton and was also a member of the Eastern Star. She loved crocheting, quilting and knitting and was an avid reader. She and her husband loved to travel, especially going to Las Vegas and cruising. Most important to her were family get-togethers. Joycelene is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, William H. Bepler; her five children, Carol (Gregg) Freme, of North Carolina, Tom (Karen) Bepler, of Greensburg, Connie Sullenberger, of Ruffsdale, Bonnie (Terry) Sethman, of Irwin, and Terri (Jeff) Patterson, of North Carolina; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; and nephew, Tom (Doreen) King, of Jeannette. The family would like to thank Weatherwood Manor staff and Grane Hospice for all their love and compassionate care. Joycelene will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
