June A. Barwiolek 91, of Irwin, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, Westmoreland Hospital , Greensburg. She was born Nov. 1, 1929, in Cowansburg, a daughter of the late James B. and Laverna (Kaler) Ray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, and two sisters, Claire Jarmon and Dorothy Burkett. Prior to her retirement, June was a clerk and presser, having worked for Clemente Cleaners in Irwin for 20 years. She was a member of the Herminie United Methodist Church. She loved cooking for the family and was known for her polish hand grenades. She also enjoyed playing cards and doing puzzle books. June is survived by special nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great -nieces and great- great-nephews, whom loved her dearly. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, in the funeral home.
