Kathleen M. (Meredith) Ferrando

Kathleen Meredith Ferrando, 92, of Herminie, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, in Poudre Valley Hospital, Fort Collins, Colo. She was born April 3, 1924, in Salina, Pa., a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Ann (Adams) Meredith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Ferrando, and a son-in-law, Roger D. Crawford. Kathleen was a past member of St. Edward Roman Catholic Church in Herminie, where she was the organist for more than 35 years. She loved to shop and spend time with her family and had moved to Colorado more than 18 years ago with her husband. Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Joan Crawford, of Andria, Italy, and Jeanne M. (Simon) King, of Wisbech, England; a son, Joseph G. (Jane) Ferrando, of Colorado; two special granddaughters, Emily and Maria Ferrando; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her family and friends near and far. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Edward Church, Herminie. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. Please go directly to church. JOSEPH W.
