Lillian H. (Mlekus) Bencloski

Lillian H. Bencloski, 96, of Herminie, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, in AHN Hempfield, Greensburg. She was born Nov. 15 1925, in Evanston, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Berginc) Mlekus. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Bencloski; infant sister, Milka Mlekus; and two sisters, Mary S. Bencloski and Frances Ritchie. Lillian enjoyed gardening and shopping at Giant Eagle. She was a member of St. Edward Church, Herminie, and SNPJ Lodge No. 87. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lillian is survived by her two daughters, Carol Bombalski, of Freeport, and Annette Luty, of Herminie; granddaughter, Amanda (Joe) Olszewski; four grandsons, Leonard (fiancee, Leyna) Bencloski, Sean Luty, Arthur (girlfriend, Angie) Bombalski and Andrew Bombalski; four special great-grandchildren, Graci, Gaige, Joseph,and Alex; numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be dearly missed by her family and neighbors. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. At which time, a funeral liturgy will be held in the funeral home with Father Vincent Yee-Concepcion.
