Loretta I. (Pace) Fraicola

Loretta I. Fraicola, 85, of Herminie, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in Mountain View Senior Living, Greensburg, surrounded by her family. She was born June 3, 1936, in Herminie, a daughter of the late Leonardo and Marietta (Natale) Pace. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Fritz" Fraicola, in 2014; two daughters, Vickie Jo and Jayme Fraicola;  beloved granddaughter, Stephanie Newingham Wallace; four sisters, Hazel Scarpari, Louise Pucklavec, Irene Esasky and Vivian Spoonhoward; and a brother, George Pace. Loretta was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook and bake. She was a member of St. Edward Church in Herminie and was also a member of T.O P.S. in Herminie. Loretta is survived by her two daughters, JoAnn (Rick) Newingham, of Arona, and Joyce (John) Martin, of Virginia; her son, Frank J. (Gina) Fraicola, of Monroeville; six special grandchildren, Jennifer (J.J.), Mandy, Carissa (Barry), Will, Josh and Alli; six special great- grandchildren, Hailey, Andrew, Reed, Blake, Alonna and Drake; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Loretta will be sadly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice, especially mom's nurse Melissa for all her love and compassionate care. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
