Neal E. Tyler

Neal E. Tyler, 77, of Herminie, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, in the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. He was born March 28, 1944, in Amsterdam, N.Y., a son of the late Bevan and Loretta (Ahnert) Tyler. Neal was a veteran of the Marine Corps, having served during Vietnam. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed carpenter. Neal was a member of the Herminie VFW Post 8427, where he enjoyed bowling on the men's league. He loved hunting and spending time with his family. Neal is survived by his son, Chad (Angela) Tyler, of Greensburg; granddaughter, Nina; sister, Nancy (Henry) Mars, of New York; his beloved companion, Marsha Natale, of Herminie; and two nieces and three great-nieces. Neal will be dearly missed by his family and many friends near and far. A memorial gathering to celebrate Neal's life will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the JOSEPH W.
