Raymond Clyde Huey, 92, of Irwin, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Johnstown, son of the late Bland A. and Ada M. (Boyer) Huey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Jane Georg and Carol Bezila. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Karen (McCall) Huey; two sons, Robert (Debbie) Huey and Thomas (Melissa) Huey, all of Irwin; two special granddaughters, Angela and Alyssa Huey; brother-in-law, Robert Bezila, of Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Raymond was a graduate of Johnstown High School and the University of Pittsburgh with a civil engineering degree. He was a Navy veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. Raymond was a longtime executive of the Fulton Piano and Organ Company and later owner of Keyboard Outlet, located in Irwin. Raymond had a love for history and travel, as he and Karen traveled the world from multiple visits to Europe, to climbing the pyramids of Guatemala. His favorite, though, were his summer vacations in Hilton Head with his family. Family and friends meant everything to him. He loved spending as much time as possible with his girls, Angela and Alyssa. Special friends Tom and Mary Andrews and his buddies from Fontana's meant the world to him. A celebration of life will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at the First Reformed United Church of Christ, 312 S. Maple St., Greensburg, PA 15601. Private inurnment with full military honors will take place at noon Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, in the Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown. JOSEPH W.
