Richard F. Krydick Sr.

Richard F. Krydick Sr., 76, of Greensburg, formerly of Herminie, Keystone, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 17, 1945, in Keystone, a son of the late Charles and Tillie (Beckman) Krydick. In addition to his parents, Rich is preceded in death by his siblings, Dolly, Helen, Margaret, Agnes, Betsy, Mike and Peter. Prior to his retirement, Rich was a laborer having worked for Serro Scotty Trailers, Irwin, for 32 years. After retirement, he was a maintenance worker at Hempfield's Giant Eagle. Rich loved going gambling to Niagara Falls with his son, mainly for the experience and the scenery. He was an avid sports fan, and he was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Church, Herminie. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Louise (Cline) Krydick and his son, Richard F. Krydick Jr., of Greensburg; a brother, Charles (Patty) Krydick, of Irwin; and a sister, Patty (Don) Flanders, of Fort Allen; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and neighbors. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at JOSEPH W.
