Roberta R. (Davis) Bodnar

Roberta R. Bodnar, 85 , of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 30, 1938 in Dravosburg, daughter of the late Fred and Grace (Watkins) Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George A. “Andy” Bodnar; infant daughter, Suann Bodnar; three brothers, Fred, David and twin brother, Robert Davis; seven sisters, Grace Nagy, Beatrice Whyte, Ruth Ann Cornman, Katherine Clouse, Helen Williams, Nancy Harbert, infant sister. Roberta was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Roberta is survived by her two daughters, Sarina Bodnar, of Penn Township, and Luann (Paul) Marold, of TN; her son, Garth (Tracia) Bodnar, of Sewickley; five special grandchildren, Paul Andrew Marold, Lauren Marold and fiancé Adam Walker, Madison (Sergio) Mazzini, Eleighsa and Elaina Bodnar; brother, Donald (Rumiko) Davis of Texas; sister, Doris Manns of Ruffsdale; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Roberta will be dearly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. Private services were held for the family, followed by inurnment in West Newton Cemetery. JOSEPH W.
