We are sad to announce that on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, we had to say goodbye to Shirley J. Rogachesky, of Branford, Fla., formerly of Wendel. She was born March 4, 1934, to Earl and Florence (Morvetz) Futscher. Shirley was a parishioner of SanJuan Mission Catholic Church, in Branford, where she was an organist and Catechist for many years and began the First Friday Adoration Ministry. She was also a member of the Angel's of Mercy Counters, Ladies Guild, Divine Mercy and Prayer Network. She served on the parish council and was a graduate of the Ministry Formation Program. She was also involved with the RCIA program and was a substitute Faith Formation teacher. Shirley was a graduate of Sewickley Township High School and a former parishioner of St. Edward Catholic Church in Herminie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, son, Barry, and son-in-law, Sonny Norsworthy. Shirley is survived by her children, Terry (Andy) Wareham, of Smithville, Texas, Thomas (Martha), of Kissimmee, Fla., Mark, of Kissimmee, Fla., Amy Norsworthy, of Odessa, Fla., Jill (Chris) Williams, of Rockledge, Fla., and Lee (Kelly), of Orlando, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Janet (Gene) Gabonay, of Herminie; sister-in-law, Betty Greenawalt, of Wendel; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and friends. A graveside service was held Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at the Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, in Kissimmee, Fla.
