Susan S. "Babe" Guerrieri, 94, of Greensburg, formerly of Herminie No. 2, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Sept. 16, 1921, in Herminie, daughter of the late John and Mary (Klanchar) Zunic. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony A. Guerrieri (1995); and her son, Anthony Guerrieri, this past January; two brothers, John and Edward Zunic; and a sister, Lois Jurcevich. Babe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends and most of all for her kindness and thoughtfulness. She was a past member of the West Hempfield Senior Citizen Club where she enjoyed playing bingo and attending social gatherings. She loved shopping, baking and decorating for the holidays. Babe is survived by her loving daughter, Sondra (Dick) Cole, of Greensburg, with whom she resided. She will be especially missed by her six grandchildren, Brad (Kelly) Cole, Raymond Cole and girlfriend, Wendy, Johneen (Christian) Mayercheck, Michelle (Michael) Huffman, Amy (John) Snyder and Michael A. Guerrieri and his girlfriend, Bianca. She will also be dearly missed by her nine great-grandchildren, Madison, Brendan, Rylan, Brady, Brynn, Bryant, McKayla, J.R. and Derek; loving sister, Ann Marie "Honey" (Bill) Reese, of Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251, a funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Justin Matro, OSB, officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
