William H. "Big Bill" Gumpher Sr.

William H. "Big Bill" Gumpher Sr., 67, of Herminie, passed away Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, at his home. He was born Oct. 19, 1953, in Braddock, son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Marks) Gumpher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Gumpher. Bill enjoyed working on cars and loved riding motorcycles. He never left the house without his beloved dog and best buddy, Toby. He was a proud grandpap and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his two sons, Shane (Jennifer) Gumpher, of West Newton, and William (Megan) Gumpher Jr., of Elizabeth; two daughters, Santana Gumpher and Daniel Mszyco, of Pittsburgh, and Jamie Gumpher, of Herminie; seven special grandchildren, Tyler, Brendon, Mason, Sean, Tiante, Aiden and Kaydence; a brother, Mike Gumpher, of Sigel, and two sisters, Pat Kristofik and Tina Gumpher, both of Elizabeth; sister-in-law, Caroline Gumpher, of Elizabeth; his friend, Cheryl Damico, of Claridge; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Big Bill will be sadly missed by his family and many friends near and far. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the JOSEPH W.
