Yvonne M. (Bussard) Levic

Yvonne M. Levic, 82, of Irwin, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 31, 1941, in Greensburg, daughter of the late Russell and Dorothy (Silvis) Bussard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Levic; and a sister, Patricia Palitta. Prior to her retirement, she was a medical receptionist for Dr. Laura at the Westmoreland Gastroenterology Group in Greensburg for several years. She loved to cook and bake for her family. Yvonne enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed life to its fullest. Yvonne is survived by her four sons, Randy (Ruth Ann), of Irwin, Jeffrey (Peggy Umbaugh) Levic, of Stahlstown, Brian (Sherry) Levic, of Irwin, and Donald (Keli) Levic, of Irwin; four special grandchildren, Taylor (Will), Tanya, Laura and Danny (Julie); five special great-grandchildren, Samuel, William, Madeleine, Aidan and Avery; a brother, Russell (Mary) Bussard, of Greensburg; her loving companion, Lauren West, of Derry; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to thank Bridges Hospice for the love and compassionate care given to their mom and family. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME, 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
